Welcome to the website of the Newsprint and Newspaper Industry Environmental Action Group (NNIEAG)

NNIEAG is supported by newsprint manufacturers from Scandinavia, Canada and the UK, as well as publishers of UK national and regional newspapers.

Its objective is to provide information regarding the industry's practices and its commitment to environmental responsibility.

The industry is committed to recycling, and NNIEAG keeps Government and the general public informed about its use of recovered fibre. It also provides advice on how to improve recycling rates and in particular, from a practical perspective, how to recycle newspapers.
